The annual Steam Summer Sale started a couple of days ago and there are many bargains to be had. A lot (read all) have at least one article up listing the “best X deals in the Steam sale” or something along those lines but this is a little different.
A friend recently told me about the Steam Database, a site that connects to Steam and allows you to investigate the data without actually have to ‘shop’. I’m obviously behind the times – I didn’t even know this existed but, boy, what a find!
Sure the likes of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare are on sale for 50% off (£19.99) but the real deals are in the lower end where the hidden gems can be picked up for pennies!
Thanks to the Steam Database sale section we can get deals on the likes of Bit Blaster XL (39p), Psychonauts (69p) and 12 Labours of Hercules (39p).
These are all rated higher than 90% by the Steam community so they must be good, right? For a grand total of £1.47 who cares buy them all and then do what all the other Steam users do… Don’t play them!
